Saturday- Pacific Science Center

We went to the Pacific Science Center today.  While we waited for the doors to open, Hailey and Jacob played with the Whisper Dish.  They always play with the whisper dish when we come.  We call it the Whisper-Ma-Phone from Dr Seuss.  The dishes are placed about 40 feet apart from each other and all you have to do is whisper into the dish and the other person can hear you on the other side.

We felt like we were in Dr Seuss land.  These "flowers" are solar powered and play music with the power they receive from the sun.

As always, we saw an IMAX movie.  This time we saw Hubble.  It's about the Hubble Telescope and space.  It was truly inspiring.  Out of all the movies we have seen in the IMAX theater, this one was by far the best!  You walk out feeling in aww.  Hailey and Jacob were totally glued to it and they want to go back and see it again.

Ooh, scary dinosaurs that move!

There is a butterfly exhibit that we always go to.  You walk into this huge room thats about 85 degrees, filled with tons of butterflies.

It's a really cool exhibit.  You get up so close to butterflies and see them in ways you otherwise never could in nature.

You're not supposed to touch or chase the butterflies, but sometimes they will land on you and all you can do is walk around until they fly away.

After a while, we all split up and ended up going our separate ways.  Brennan took Hailey and Jacob off to see some others things and I took James to the toddler play area.

Oh yeah baby, where else can you drive a sports car?!

On our way home, we stopped off at the store so Hailey could buy a bracelet making kit that she has been dying to buy.  She has been enjoying making her bracelets.
