XBOX Research, Ducks, and McDonalds

Meet Josie, our number one babysitter!  We love her for so many reasons, like the fact that she lives 5 houses down from us and really loves to babysit and is super responsible.  She can walk or drive to our house.  We seriously couldn't have gotten more lucky.  This photo was taken on our way to piano lessons.  We had to drive past the house real quick and were greeted by Josie who decided to take James on a walk, instead of play on her cellphone which she's really good about not doing.  Mmm, we love her :)

Just a random photo of cuteness :)

More ducks!  Every time we go to James' Mini Movers class, we have to stop and see the ducks.  He's precious.

We had a fun opportunity the other day.  Some XBOX research people came to our house to do a study using Jacob and I.  They set up their own Kinnect equipment and had us do some moves to help train the Kinnect to function more accurately.  Long story short, in order to help the Kinnect to work more efficiently, it must be "spoon fed" real people's movements.  As a reward, they gave us two video games.

As a treat after school, I surprised the kids with a trip to McDonalds for an ice cream and a chance to play in the play land.  Not surprisingly, there was hardly no one there.

No one else around meant that James got to run around in the play structure.  He was a very happy boy.
