Miss Hailey and Becky

Here is Hailey with her new hampster named Becky.  Hailey has grown a special bond with this hamster and proved one night just how much she loves her Becky.  One night, Hailey checked on Becky before bed and discovered she was missing.  After looking briefly around the room for Becky, I knew we were in trouble and needed to start looking all over the house.  Hailey became very emotional and was unable to help search for her missing hampster.  So I told her to say a prayer that we would find Becky.  She sat on her bed and while crying offered a prayer out loud that we would find Becky and that she would be alright.  Just seconds after she finished her prayer, Brennan yelled out from the bathroom that he found Becky in the linen closet.  Once Becky was safely in Hailey's hands, Hailey began crying harder than ever before and was so thankful that Heavenly Father had answered her prayer :)

She had spent the rest of the night terrified that Becky would escape her cage again, so Hailey told me that she stayed up most of the night and ended up saying 7 prayers that Becky would stay in her cage and would be safe.  She came home from school that day and took a nap on the couch.
