Sun Peaks Trip Day 2

The kids woke up at 6:30 this morning, so some morning snuggles with daddy were in order.  

While Brennan took Hailey and Jacob skiing today, James and I took a stroll through town.  Our mode of transportation?  A sled :) It was fun going from shop to shop while pulling James on a sled.  He would just hop off and we would go into a store, looking for a jacket for James since we left his at home.  At least his old jacket was getting too small for him.  He had a blast, doesn't that look like good living?  We are loving it!  

Since the walk into town is mostly down hill, there is a nice shuttle to take us back to our condo when we're down shopping.  It was all new and fun for James, which makes his vacation that much better. "Bus Mommy!  Bus!" :)

After lunch, Jacob decided to stay with James and I while Hailey and Brennan kept skiing.  We went back into town so I could pick up James' jacket.  While I was in the store making the purchase, the boys stayed outside and played in the snow.  

As soon as we got back to our condo, the boys insisted on more sledding.  This littl hil sits right outside our door.  Makes letting them play outside just that much easier.  

They sled non stop for an hour.  They were really happy boys.  

After everyone was done playing and skiing outside, the kids and dad jumped into the hot tub.  Poor James kept crying because his hands were so cold that any sort of warm on his skin hurt.   

After dinner, everyone snuggled up to watch Harry Potter.  Hailey was begging us to go to bed at 5pm, she was so tired, but we forced her to stay awake for another two hours.  Those are signs of a good day :)

Brennan set up his camera to take family photos for our Christmas card he plans to send out soon.  

James doesn't like the sled, so he slides down on his bum.
