We took the family to the West Point Light House outside of Seattle on the Puget Sound. It was really cool to see this old lighthouse because it was on an old military base. This photo was taken in front of someone's old quarters. I just think it's really neat to see places where people used to live and walk the grounds, but where no one lives anymore. The kids thought it was really cool too.
Here is an old bell. The kids figured out that if they hit it with a rock or a wooden stick, that it would make different sounds. We had a lot fun. We finished the day by going to the Fisherman's Wharf, looking at all the really cool boats and then we bought some yummy salmon to cook at home.
