Oh summer has come and gone, but now it's time for back to school. It was a little bitter sweet, maybe a little more sweet than bitter though...
School is good for the kids. They get to see their favorite friends everyday and their little brains get a little challenged. It's amazing how unbelievable happy I am to receive them when they come home.
Hailey looked fabulous on her first day of 2nd grade, styling her black jeans with black boots, a grey tee shirt that said "XOXO" on it and her new blue coat. She said that when she grows up, she wants to be an artist!
Jacob was over the moon to start his first day of first grade. He said that when he grows up, he wants to be a Lego Teller. someone who creates Lego sets and then makes videos on how to make them. That's a real thing you know.
Big sister and little/big brother.
Oh boy, the school bus! It's so awesome to have the kids on the same bus schedule this year. My life has been made so much easier.
James and I commemorated our first school day together by taking a really long walk, something we didn't do all summer.
