By the way, the only two times Jacob cried was when we got into the car to go to the urgent care because he thought they were going to hurt him :/ The second time was when the Dr gave Jacob the shot to numb his cut, which looked way painful. But he didn't cry when the balloon weight hit him in the head (he just looked dazed), he didn't cry when they put a numbing gel on his cut, he didn't cry when they scrubbed the heck out of his cut after it had been numbed on the surface from the numbing gel (which looked like it should hurt really bad) and he didn't cry when they gave him the six stitches. He probably didn't cry though because I shoved four packs of fruit snacks into his mouth and let him play Plants vs Zombies on my phone the whole time.
He was a trooper. He thought it was so cool to have stitches. He thinks it's even cooler that he has a scar. He says it's his Harry Potter scar.
We spent the rest of Sunday laying outside in the backyard, enjoying what will probably be the last beautiful day of the year.
Jacob picked me another flower. Isn't he sweet?

A Trip to the Urgent Care
Lazy Sunday.
Oh yes, this little man has finally done something that finally landed him in the urgent care. Well done Jacob, well done. Right before church, Jacob decided to throw a balloon weight into the air, that happened to be made out of cement and had a sharp edge on it, and just stood still, not paying any attention to where the weight was, when it hit him on the forehead and split his skin very nicely, about an inch and half long. I knew right away that he needed stitches. So I left Brennan with the other kidsand hopped in the car yo take Jacob to the Urgent care.
