Clark Family Reunion 2008 at Shoshone Lodge Wyoming

We started our journey to our family reunion by leaving at 5am. We drove 8 hours to Boise to stay with Brennan's best friend Jordan and his family. We went and stayed in Jordan's cousins very nice second home in the mountains. As you can see, it was very large. We had a good time staying with them.



We left Jordan's the next day and drove another 8 hours to Island Park, ID. We stopped along the way to have dinner in Rexburg. We ate our dinner at the park next to the BYU Campus. They have added a water park and Hailey could not resist. I had to dig through all our bags to find her swimsuit. It was 90 degrees outside.

We then went to see the new temple in Rexburg. It was very beautiful and HOT!!! If you know what I mean.
We left the next day from Island Park to go see Yellowstone. It was very cool, especially the gyzers. We went to see Old Faithful. We waited an hour to see it and our children almost died waiting. I forgot to bring our diaper bag and it was a tragedy. Jacob had a huge blowout and Hailey peed her pants. I didn't have any diapers or extra cloths. Our car was parked a mile away. It all happened right when old faithful was expected to blow and we didn't want to miss it. Unfortunately it blew late. Just as we gave up our seats to walk away, it finally blew. Go figure. We ended up staying in Yellowstone. The room we stayed in was dirty. I had a maid come to clean the bathtub because there was a dirt ring around it. I felt so bad giving my kids a bath that I made Brennan shower with them instead. Then the electricity went out twice. It was hilarious. We had fun with our kids falling asleep with us in bed while watching a movie.

Here's one the sulfer pits that were very stinky. According to Brennan, the sulfer pits fallowed us (or him) the whole way home.

We finally reached the reunion 3 miles east of Yellowstone at Shoshone Lodge. I was surprised that out of 9 families we were the first to arrive. We had a blast. Here are just a few photos we took. Brennan's dad and siblings to many more and we are still waiting to get them in the mail. I'll post those when we get them.
Yes, I fished with Jacob in the pack. Brennan was impressed by my cast. I still hold the title of the "Bass Master", even though we were fishing for trout.
