Jacob Loves Soccer

I'm so happy that Jacob has found something he loves and he loves soccer!  I've learned as a parent that little boy's love for sports is something they sometimes develope as they get older and not something they are necessarily born with.  I say this because Jacob has been in soccer multiple times as a younger child and he didn't love it.  In fact, if you would have asked me a year ago if Jacob was into soccer, I would have said 'no way!'.  But here we are, in a soccer skills institute class.

Jacob recently has started kicking a soccer ball around everywhere he can (or shouldn't). He tries to sneak a ball into the house every once in a while and I have to kick him out every time.  He loves kicking a ball and he has fallen in love with playing soccer with the other boys at recess.  So I signed him up for a soccer class this summer and for the soccer league in the fall.  He started his first day of his soccer class and he was really bored.  His coach told me that he needs to move up to the more advanced soccer class, The Skills Intitute class.  He's having a lot more fun now as you can see in his photos below :)

I'm happy to see him so happy.
